The best part of our life is when we purchase a new car; all car lovers know this feeling of having a compact vehicle that makes our trips better.
After picking up the car, we first modify our vehicle and make every effort to make it as feasible as possible. Here are some accessories we hand-picked ourselves to save time and make your Ford F-150 at its best.
Built right a back seat latch
It is the most important modification which you can do. Unlatching the passenger seat is very difficult without that latch. This modification not only makes unlatching easy it also saves our time.
Tunnel cover
One, it looks better. We just got our bags from this road trip, and we stopped to go shopping or have lunch/dinner something we don’t have to worry about. We can just go without thinking of our loads. It’s covered, and it’s safe.
There are many types of rolls there. We can have that electronic one that folds and covers in just a click.
The benefit of having this tunnel cover, it provides more security.
On the other hand, it is a bit expensive to install and takes reasonable space.
Soft roll covers work the same as electronic ones and add a lot of peace of mind and security, even if it’s a soft roll.
Pros:
- It doesn’t take up so much space.
- Very easy to unfold and fold.
- Takes less time and effort.
- Less expensive.
- Takes minimal space.
Leveling Kit
There are three different types of leveling kits.
- The spacer leveling kit that’s going to level it out and allows you to put wheels and tires you are going to keep this soft and spongy ride quality that we have on the stock ones also keeps in kind if you’re doing a lot of off-roading you are probably going to blow that strut out. All the money you spend on the spacer($100) will be gone.
- You have to update to a Coilover so keep that in mind when you go to like 2-0 coil-over which will be like a fox or maybe like a Bilstein for a 5100. Those are going to be excellent on-road characteristics, and off-road, they are going to be pretty good. You will be able to go to a decent speed. You don’t want to go extreme with these but going on a hunting trip off-road a couple of times a year will be great, certainly more dependable than a spacer and something that could last the entire life of your vehicle if you are a guy who doesn’t go off-roading a lot.
- If you spend a lot of time off-roading, you want to go to like 2-5, so like a fox or an icon, there’s a falcon system of 2.25. These will ride a little stiffer than a factory, for some people are too rigid over the factory, but these will be very dependable off-roading. You are never going to switch them out. These are the solid options, of course. There’s a lot more money, but what will you do after we get the truck leveled out and give some clearance once you decide what’s the best fit for you there?
Weathertech Window Shades
If you travel a lot and have to sleep in your truck, or you go hiking or shooting for a YouTube video, this is a must-have in your car. It will protect you from the winds. Also, blackout anyone from peeking into the truck.
Window Tint
To protect from heat, consider the adjustment you need to see at nighttime. Tinting the windshield should always be done, keeping in mind how much tint you need to see clearly while driving.
Swing Cases
Swinging compartments which are attached to the back of the truck are compact and spacious. You can store all the tools and small backpacks in either tools or bags or extra stuff that you need for your daily chaos.
Console Vault Safe
It is so basic and a must-have it will help you to store money or anything that you need to store temporarily. Also, buy a console organizer with it, so you have compartments to store many things of your needs. The vault organizer makes the whole area much more useful. Simple trick if you have to install this, you may also consider adding a nickel trick behind the spring latches. It is easier for it to stay up a little better as it is heavy.
Floor mats
This will preserve your truck’s life, we go to tons of places of different types, some are rocky some are sandy, some are grassy, and some are wet. We enter the car just with those shoes. It affects our carpet which is not replaceable even going 15 miles the floor mats gets dusty dragging mud and dust or grass and weeds, rubber floor mat for the weather tech or a husky liner are savor, all we have to do is pick them up. Clean outside, or we can clean with a cloth.
Husky Wheel Liner
This saves our paint on the wheel area. It is much easier to clean than to clean with paint, also, it does not come with the car/truck itself. We have to install it ourselves.
Ray Diniar 7-inch Antenna
As the antenna that comes with it is significant, and it may distract you from the corner of your eye, this antenna you won’t even notice. Also, the quality of the signal is quite good.
Readywares Waxed Canvas Bag
This bag works as a tool kit. Here, you get five pockets to store tools, and it is spacious to put wires or any heavy part. It is also water-resistant. You can carry this bag inside your swinging cases or side of the driving seat.
